Restore Comfort with Personalized Care
Dry eye affects millions of people, yet many don’t realize they have dry eye. And dry eye can get worse without treatment.
You might push through daily discomfort or make do with ineffective over-the-counter methods. You may struggle to focus at work, experience blurry vision even with prescription glasses, or frequently feel like there’s something in your eye.
The eye’s moisture layer is essential for keeping the surface clear and clean. When your eye’s surface lacks moisture due to dry eye, it can impact comfort and vision, increasing the risk of infections or scarring.
Getting relief can make a meaningful difference. Let us help.
What Is Dry Eye?
Dry eye is when the eye’s surface lacks moisture, impacting comfort, vision, and eye health. There are 2 main types:
- Evaporative dry eye is the most common. Tears evaporate too quickly because of poor quality.
- Aqueous deficiency dry eye is when too few tears are produced to sustain moisture.
Assessing the tear film (the eye’s moisture layer) and understanding which type of dry eye you have allows us to develop a personalized treatment.

IPL Therapy
IPL (intense pulsed light) therapy is a noninvasive treatment for dry eye. The technology targets the root cause of evaporative dry eye—meibomian gland dysfunction. During the procedure, a handheld device delivers pulses of light to the eyelids, which stimulates the meibomian glands to produce more oil. The oil (meibum) helps surface moisture last longer and spread evenly.
IPL treatment can improve tear quality, reduce inflammation, and achieve longer-lasting relief. Patients typically benefit from multiple sessions, but many patients notice results quickly.

Amniotic Membrane
An amniotic membrane is a biological material used to treat various ocular surface conditions, including severe dry eye. The membrane has anti-inflammatory properties and growth factors, which promote healing and prevent tissue scarring.
The amniotic membrane is applied to the eye like a contact lens, acting as a bandage over the eye’s surface. As the tissue is organic, it naturally dissolves over time, leaving behind healthier eye tissue.
Meibomian Gland Expression
The meibomian glands produce the oily layer of tears, which prevent moisture evaporation. The glands open along the edges of the eyelid, near the base of your eyelashes. Meibomian gland dysfunction, when oil is clogged in the glands or trapped by eyelid inflammation, is a common cause of dry eye.
Meibomian gland expression is a procedure that involves carefully squeezing the oil glands in the eyelids to release any blockages. Patients can experience effective relief with minimal discomfort. Expressing the glands can help improve moisture retention and reduce inflammation.
Punctal Plugs
Punctal plugs support surface moisture by preventing tear drainage. The plugs are inserted into the tear ducts (puncta).
Punctal plugs can be temporary (made of collagen, which is naturally absorbed over time) or semi-permanent (made of medical-grade silicone). The procedure is minimally invasive, and the devices are available in different sizes to improve comfort.
By blocking tear drainage, moisture stays on the eye’s surface longer. Retaining tear quantity can improve comfort and decrease reliance on artificial tears or eye drops.
Our Aesthetics Services

Skin Rejuvenation
IPL (intense pulsed light) targets specific cells containing pigment (color). The pigment absorbs the light energy, causing the pigment to break down. The energy creates gentle heat to stimulate collagen production, a protein essential for tissue repair. Increasing collagen helps improve skin texture and tone.
Patients can experience glowing, youthful skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines, age spots, redness, scars, and discoloration.
Hair Removal
Laser treatments can remove unwanted hair within 2–6 treatment sessions. Our technology allows us to customize your treatment to your hair and skin type.
The laser generates energy that targets the pigmentation (color) in hair down to the root. The applicator includes a cooling touch to improve comfort during the procedure, eliminating the need for numbing cream and wait time.
